When my daughter, Tanya, and I decided to start our own family-run chocolate dipping business, it seemed like an obvious decision to make, one that grew out of years of chocolate loving and family tradition.
Growing up, Tanya always asked for chocolate dipped strawberries for her birthday, stubbornly refusing to eat cake. When it came to the holidays, we would dip pretzels in chocolate, cover them in creative toppings, and wrap them up special for the members of our large extended family. Before long, family, friends, and acquaintances alike were asking us to dip their favorite treats.
This passion for making and sharing quality dessert inspired us to start DCS Chocolates. My background as a teacher in the culinary arts and Tanya’s pragmatism and organizational skills as an elementary school teacher were the perfect recipe for success. Add to that, both of us are creative and perfectionists in all we do.
We are now honored and delighted to share our family’s chocolate tradition with you. We take pride in the presentation of our baskets and platters and are always open to suggestions from our customers. As we always say, “You think it…we dip it!”.
